dc.description.abstract A distinct layer of minimum salinity (SML) occurs in the UB, which is called the East Sea Intermediate Water by Kim and Chung (1984). This paper reviews studies on the ESIW in the UB, and describes preliminary results on the ESIW based on data obtained recently. -
