dc.description.abstract The Yellow Sea is a semi-enclosed, helf-type shallow water sea shared by China, North Korea and South Korea. The establishment of an operational oceanographic system for the Yellow Sea is of common interest to the two countries. It is certain that it is essential to set up an operational ocean service through the cooperation in this region, and in the beginning South Korea and China should be working together to push the Yellow Sea Operational Oceanographic System ahead. -
