dc.description.abstract This study presents a method of determining orientations of an offshore-directed video camera using two oblique photographs taken of moored buoys. In the calibration of video camera, the buoys are used as control points instead of objects found on the beach. A photogrammetry for the oblique photographs is developed on the basis that depression angles due to the buoy and shoreline are constant when photographs are taken at a common point. A field experiment, in which indirect methods are originally used to determine separately inner and exterior orientations of video camera, shows that this new approach is useful. -
