한반도 주변 해역의 실시간 해양관측시스템 구축

Abstract

In 2001, Korea Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries adopted an implementation plan for the establishment of a real-time coastal and ocean observing network for the surrounding waters of the Korean peninsula prepared by Korea Ocean Research and Development Institute. Efforts are currently underway to establish such a system around Korean waters. The current status of the real-time coastal and ocean observing system in Korea which are currently operating or are being constructed will be introduced as well as the plan for further development of the system in the future. Suggestions for further improvement of the system for the operational oceanography be also discussed.
