dc.description.abstract Waste tire can be used not only for reinforcing mateials due to its high capacity against tensile force but also effective for masive treatment. This paer presented the experimental results of finite element analysis of reinforcing effects of the waste tire mat applied to embankment. Based on numerical anlysis of experimnetal results, the reinforcing effect from waste tire mat were very much significant into embnakment installed in weathered soils -
