dc.description.abstract waste tires can be used for not only reinforcing materials due to its high capacity of tensile stress but also effective additions for reusing deposed materials. This paper investigate some envionmental impact on waste tire when they are resued in reinforcing materials on embankment. A series of leaching tests have been performed for about 7 months. The pH measurement after completion of leaching test indicate that initial acidic medoum and basic medium were neutralized. From the test results, waste tire are found to be very reusable materials. -
