dc.description.abstract | In the course of our research on novel natural products from marine microorganisms, we isolated a strain showing significant cytotoxicity against human leukemia cell line, K562. From this strain, we isolated indolic derivative and macrolide from the extract of the culture broth. The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis, including 1D and 2D NMR experiments.
