dc.description.abstract | The concept of Time Reversal Acoustics (TRA) provides an elegant possibility ofboth temporal and spatial concentrating of acoustic energy in highlyinhomogeneous media. The prediction of the waveform produced by the TRAfocused system can be conducted without real TRA focusing. The suggestedcalculation of the TRA focused field is based on the measurements of transferfunction between the signal applied to any of the TRA system transducers and theultrasonic waveform in the point of focusing. The results of this predictiondemonstrated full coincidence with the measured TRA focused field. TRAfocusing system can provide simultaneous focusing to many points that can beused for extension of the focal area that was demonstrated in the presentedexperiments. | - |
