dc.description.abstract In the course of our search for the bioactive secondary metabolites from marine organisms, we collected the red algae Odonthalia corymbifera from the coast of the East Sea, Korea. Studies on the chemical investigation of the Odonthalia corymbifera led to the isolation of several new bromophenols together with previously reported compounds. And the derivatives have been obtained by the catalytic hydrodehalogenation of bromophenols using Pd/Al2O3 catalyst. -
