dc.description.abstract Bulk electrical resistivity measuring senosrs were installed at different vertical locations of the column test device in order to represent bulk electrical conductivity of soils to be estimated resident concentrations. Transport parameters v, D were achieved by fitting theoretical curves of cr(x,t), based on analytical solutions, to measured curves of cr(x,t) determined from laboratory column tests using electrical resistivity measurement method. To obtain accuracy of new column test method, the BEC breakthrough curves have been compared with the breakthrough curves obtained from analyzing of effluent samples. Use of electrical resistivity sensors is suggested in this study as a means of overcoming the laborious process of sampling effluent solution during standard column tests. -
