dc.description.abstract Permeable Reactive Well (PRW) is easy to construct into deep aquifer because it can be simply installed through boring procedure. PRW can be viewed as a more innovative form of PRB because it allows treatment of deep aquifer contamination in addition to the advantage of ease of construction. In this research, designparameters of the PRW have been evaluated, which can be summarized as follows; (1) The capture width decreases extremely with the transverse interval between wells. The capture width becomes almost the same with the capture width of a single well when transverse interval between wells is larger than four times the well diameter. It was not found to be affected by longitudinal interval between wells. (2) Retention time is affected by transverse interval between wells. If transverse interval between wells becomes wider, retention time decrease. -
