dc.description.abstract The size of microorganisms in the nature is various. Sphingopyxis alaskensis is only strain that has been isolated and extensively studie. The size of these tiny microorganisms challenges views about the minimal size of living cell, thus we try to discriminate nanobacteria by membrane cut-off method from oligotrophic marine environments. We expect to know a diversity and separate novel species of nanobacteria -
