dc.description.abstract | The discharge capability of sluice caisson for tidal power plant was investigated by conducting hydraulic and numerical experiments. The experiments were carried out with 15 different sluice models whose geometrical shapes were decided by taking into account of the major design parameters determining the sluice shape. Based on the results of the extensive experiments for the different sluice models, the best geometrical shape that maximizes the water discharge capability through the sluice was suggested. | - |
