dc.description.abstract Photographing fish larvae and small fish specimens in a photo cell on board was very difficult because of serious vibration of fluid created by pitching and rolling of the vessel. In this study, we developed a new device that overcame such a difficulty. A key technique is to place the specimens within a photo cell which has a jar-type-cover and is filled with seawater completely. Using this device, we obtained high quality digital images of specimens on board the research vessel Onnuri-Ho of KORDI just after collecting the samples. -
