dc.description.abstract This study presents the results of experimental investigation on the submerged breakwaters made of two different armor blocks of Tetrapod and TP(Triangular Pyramid)-Block. The focus of the study is to compare the wave transmission characteristics of the submerged breakwaters according to the use of different types of armor blocks. For this purpose, the parameter of KThb/h was introduced in the analysis of the measurement data. By using the linear regression line deduced from the analyzed data, it was possible to readily estimate the wave transmission coefficient irrespective of different water depths at the crest of the submerged breakwater. -
