부산과 울산항에서 계절변화에 따른 식물플랑크톤과 클로로필의 크기변화 양상

Abstract

The phytoplankton cell volume and chlorophyll a were investigated at Ulsan and Pusan ports from February 2007 to November 2008. Phytoplankton cell volume increased from winter to summer. Cell volume and chlorophyll a concentrations were similar to their variation patterns. Variation of phytoplankton cell volume was significantly influenced by that of nano-sized cells. But, chlorophyll a showed mainly affected by micro sized cells. In correlation analysis, there was high significant coefficient between total cell volume and chlorophyll a concentration. Pico sized cell volume and chlorophyll a were not significant. However, nano-sized chlorophyll a and cell volume appeared to be high correlation at Pusan ports in Autumn. Because of Chaetoceros socialis occupied by over 60% in total cell volume.
