dc.description.abstract Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology has been proposed as prominent technology to reduce the emission to atmosphere of carbon dioxide which is causing the climate change. Special geological structure as like as deep brine aquifer, obsolete oil /gas storage etc. The various researches have been performed focusing on how much this technology can mitigate the global warming. Even though the previous researches emphasized the safety of the CCS technology, high compressed carbon dioxide leakage can cause the serious environmental problem to ecosystem. The present study is being performed to predict and prevent disaster to protect the ecosystem and environment. The present project consists of three sub researches; one is the development of the leakage scenario based on FEP method, the second is predicting of the impacted zone when high concentrated carbon dioxide is leaked out from the project and the other is the experiment to risk assessment of the carbon dioxide exposure of ecosystem. -
