dc.description.abstract The kinetics of removal of cadmium are described through a pseudo-second order rate equation at different initial cadmium concentration. The rate constant(k2), and the equilibrium removal capacity(qe) were calculated using linear form, which was expressed as the relation of between qt/t and reaction time, t. From these two parameters, an empirical model was derived as a function of initial cadmium concentration for predicting the removal capacity of cadmium ions at any reaction time, t. -
