dc.description.abstract Physical experiments were performed in a wave basin to examine the overall performance of the modified design of the offshore seawall that is being constructed between two islands. The offshore seawall is a portal structure of the fixed link connecting Busan and Geoje cities in Korea. Based on the results of the physical model tests, it was confirmed that the slope stability and overtopping discharge satisfy the design criteria required for guaranteeing the overall safety of the structure. -
