dc.description.abstract Daily time series of satellite-derived SST over 2003-2010 were analyzed for understanding ocean climate of the seasonal and non-seasonal variations in the marginal seas around the Korea peninsular. The annual SST harmonics accounts for more than 90% of the total variance and its amplitude wiht a range of 3 to 12 degree incease shoreward from the Kuroshio Current. On the other hand, the contribution of the non-seasonal variation to the total variance is less than 6% in the continental shelf north of the Kuroshio Current. -
