dc.description.abstract Soft ground improvement is essential process for the use of reclamation sites. If the reclamation site is contaminated, the remediation works should be performed with the improvement of ground. The reactive drain method was newly suggested to achieve simultaneously both the soft ground improvement and the remediation of contaminated pore water in reclamation site. In this study, numerical analysis considering the effect of vertical sand layer and the length of impermeable barrier was conducted to achieve an optimum design of reactive drain pile. -
