dc.description.abstract | This document reviews the overall of ocean energy, including tidal power, current power, offshore wind power, OTEC(ocean thermal energy conversion), CCS(carbon dioxide capture and storage), CAES(compressed air energy storage) and so on, which is the great part of the renewable energy. Recently, the offshore foundation system is emphasized in the ocean energy plant field because there are many difficulties in the practical construction of the offshore power plant. The geotechnical engineers are expected to play an active role in ocean energy plant field. | - |
