dc.description.abstract The preliminary results of physical and numerical experiment are presented for investigating the performance of the tidal stream turbine system, which is under development for application to the gap between the bridge protection structures. The advantage of this system is acquisition of high flow velocity due to flow acceleration at the gap which allows efficient power generation from the tidal stream turbine. © 2011, World Scientific.
