dc.description.abstract We will review the geometric validation of GOCI L1B data produced at the IMPS (Image Pre-Processing System) level for the period August 2010 to September 2011. IMPS generate Level 0,Level 1A/1B, IMC (Image Motion Compensation) data and radiometric/geometric correction fromGOCI raw data. IMPS is consisted DM (Decomposition Module), INRSM (Image Navigation andRegistration Software Module), IMPS DB, PMM(Product Management Module). The purpose of thiswork is to evaluate the INRSM level (GOCI L1B) performance using the following methods: 1.Navigation performance, 2. Within frame registration accuracy, 3. Frame to Frame registrationaccuracy, 4. Band to Band registration accuracy. Consequently, it can be said that the navigationalperformance of GOCI L1B data is satisfactory, but when the performance was measured as thepercentage of observations that fell within the specification, the percentage in the slot-based analysis could be around 90% for navigation.radiometric/geometric correction fromGOCI raw data.
