Abstract
Marine sponge Coscinoderma sp. from Chuuk, Federated states of Micronesia is well known to cause paralysis through a skin contact among the natives of the marine sponge. Studies on the chemical investigation of the marine sponge Coscinoderma sp. led to the isolation of three new sesterterpenoids together with previously reported six compounds including suvanine. The structure of the novel compounds have been elucidated by combined spectroscopic method including 2D NMR and HRMS.derma sp. led to the isolation of three new sesterterpenoids together with previously reported six compounds including suvanine.
