dc.description.abstract Estimates about Earth-Moon rotational state have remarkably converged but not yet in complete match. Tidal braking is the working mechanism in the secular deceleration, but fluctuations exist at wide spectral range. Data from lunar laser ranging are regarded most accurate, while valuable information have also come from paleontological evidence, satellite orbit analysis, ocean tide modeling, historical eclipse record, etc. Studies since late 60s are once again reviewed. -
