dc.description.abstract | In this work, we have designed and fabricated a flapping-type tidal energyharvesting system (FT-TEHS) as a lab-scale experimental device for preliminarystudy. With this lab-scale system, we can conduct experiments to extend knowledgeabout the system dynamic behavior and also to develop a mathematical model fordesign purpose such as scaling up, optimization, and control system design, etc., whichis crucial for design of a real scale system.
