Abstract
Based on the 14C age determination, core bottom age was considered as about 125 ka, and this exhibiting from last interglacial to Holocene PCPO records of continental shelf area. In particular, geochemical proxies of TOC, CaCO3, long chain n-alkanes(C25-C35) and unsaturated ketones were analyzed to estimates the past sea surface temperatures (SST) and related terrestrial organic matter inputs in this area. Also, since this site is shallow water depth (187m) and is expected to be influenced by some terrestrial organic matter inputs due to its proximity to the continent, we also examined the relationship among the variations of SST, flux of terrestrial biomarker, and thus paleoclimatic proxies which can be applicable as signatures of paleoclimatological variations in East Asia areas.n-alkanes(C25-C35) and unsaturated ketones were analyzed to estimates the past sea surface temperatures (SST) and related terrestrial organic matter inputs in this area.
