dc.description.abstract The Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI) is the world’s first ocean color sensor platform on a geostationary orbit, which observes ocean environments around the Korean Peninsula every hour, eight times a day. The GOCI Data Processing System (GDPS) is an exclusive software system to process the GOCI data in real-time and interactively. In this paper, the summary of the GDPS version 1.3 was explained as follow: 1) New products (e.g., level-2 flags, inherent optical properties, salinities) are added, 2) Existing products (e.g., suspended sediments, chlorophyll concentration) are modified, 3) The atmospheric correction algorithm is updated, 4) User interfaces are improved, and 5) Trivial bugs are fixed. GDPS version 1.3 will be released at the first half of 2014.stem (GDPS) is an exclusive software system to process the GOCI data in real-time and interactively.
