dc.description.abstract The interested hot spot of the biodiversity is located mainly in tropical pacific. The hot spot, located tropical pacific region, consist of various habitats such as the coral reef, the mangrove colony, rocky shore, and beach. Therefore, the geographical condition of tropical pacific region have a definite advantage for studying undiscovered useful marine animal because of higher biodiversity and various habitats. The present survey was conducted with studying brachyuran from 6 stations in Koror state, Palau. The six stations was comprised of the coral reef and the sea grass in subtidal zone, and sandy bottom in tidal zone. As a result, 35 inds. 7 species 5 families belonging to the brachyuran were collected from the six station in Koror, Palau.
