dc.description.abstract Astrogorgin analogs and calicoferols are compounds with diverse biological activities, frequently found from gorgonians of Astrogorgia species. In our continuing research on the secondary metabolites of marine invertebrates inhabiting the coastal area of Jeju, Republic of Korea, we could isolate six astrogorgin and twelve calicoferol analogs. The structures of isolated compounds were elucidated using 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. -
