dc.description.abstract For the coastal acidification monitoring site selection in Korea, I would like to find out the sensitive coastal area to climate change. Therefore, seasonal observed seawater temperature (ST) and pH data for 13 years (1997∼2009) in Koran coastal area from Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation were gathered and implemented DB. Also, spatial scheme of Korean coastal area was designed as 65 zones using GIS, and 332 stations were allocated to each zone. After averaging ST and pH in each zone, linear regression analysis was performed on the seasonally bases to calculate annual change rate. Due to the limited number of data and strong annual variation, sophisticated regression analysis was required. Therefore, statistical test was performed using diagnostics and elimination of outlier and suitability determination of regression model. To integrate significant regression coefficient for two factors, scoring of annual change rate was needed. Therefore, annual change rate was classified into 6 levels (-3 to 3) for each factor respectively. By using score, seasonal integration was possible, and then annual change rate map was built for two factors. In order to detect a climate change sensitive area considering two factors, two score maps were integrated as one map. However, quantitative value of the annual change rate of ST and pH explained in this study, should be used only to compare the relative scale of change rate between coastal zones due to the fewer number of data. -
