dc.description.abstract | The OCR was significantly affected by temperature, CO2 concentration and the interaction of these two variables. The OCR increased significantly with an increase in the temperature range from 15 to 25℃ for all CO2 concentration conditions. Mean OCRs at 15, 20 and 25℃ ranged 44.8~70.0, 59.2~86.5 and 78.1.~95.0 mg O2 kg-1 hr-1, respectively. Q10 values ranged 1.13~1.76 between 15 and 20℃, 1.04~1.74 between 20 and 25℃, and 1.18~1.74 between 15 and 25℃, respectively. The OCRs of S. schlegelii increased with increase of CO2 concentration from 500 to 750 mg/L, but the OCRs of fish at 1500 mg/L decreased at high temperature (i.e. 20 and 25℃). The results of this study provide physiological evidence that S. schlegelii exposed to various CO2 concentrations and temperatures have significant metabolic response.
