dc.description.abstract | One of the tidal turbines, the vertical axis tidal turbine (VAT) have numerous attentions as systems extracting sustainable and predictable renewable energy, but a commercial power generation in an array form is not started yet due to technical, financial, and environmental uncertainties. In technical aspects, the power efficiency would be critical problem for the success in the tidal current generation. Therefore, this paper focused on the information about how to improve the performance of the turbine. The single and dual-VAT were conducted on the indoor experiment. The comparison between single and dual turbine efficiency was confirmed to be increased by 5%. From this result, it would be help to optimize the vertical axis turbine.ical, financial, and environmental uncertainties.
