dc.description.abstract This presentation provides a summary on the calibration and validation activities for Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI) that was conducted in 2016. Firstly, field campaigns performed by Korea Ocean Satellite Center (KOSC) was briefly introduced, including the Korea-US joint field campaign (KORUS-OC). Secondly, the updates in the level 2 algorithms such as atmospheric correction, chlorophyll algorithms, and diffuse attenuation coefficients were summarized.
