dc.description.abstract We isolated four asterriquinone derivatives from the strain 01NT-1.1.5 identified as A. flocculosus. By the detailed analysis of NMR data and comparison of literatures, the structures of compounds 1-4 were determined as two new and two known asterriquinone derivatives. All compounds displayed an anti-proliferative effect on cancer cell lines. Interestingly, these compounds showed a significant inhibitory activity especially against mouse melanoma cell lines. However, to address the potential therapeutic efficacy, further research including mechanism of action study is needed.n asterriquinone derivatives.
