Abstract
- Microplastic contamination in the marine environment is an increasing concern. Bivalves are useful bioindicators of microplastic contamination in the marine environment due to several advantages such as extensive filter feeding activity and broad geographical distriburion. This study investigated microplastic contamination in bivalves and seawater at 12 sites along the Korean coasts. The concentration of microplastics in bivalves and seawater were in range of 0.05
