dc.description.abstract Evaluation of structural safety and serviceabilty under the design wave conditons in the design stage is very important for the floating cable suported bridges due to their structural charcteristcs. In thistudy, the motinal charcteristcs of the floating structures and the short-erm fatigue damage acumulated athe sections of the tehers under the harsh wave conditons are investigated perfominglobal perfomance anlysi. Tobtain the required physical response for evaluating the behavioral charcteristcs and short-erm fatigue damages, hydrodynamic anlysi for the floating cable suported bridges under the 10y return period iregular waves i conducted in time-domain. Thefects ofthe main geometric design parmetrsuch as floater types, draft, and tendon arangement on the global motin of the structures and acumulated short-erm fatgue damage of the tehers are investigated -
