dc.description.abstract These days many ocean forecast and analysis dataset are produced while in-situ observations are not enough to cover the northwestern pacific, especially typhoon intensification area. These ocean forecast and analysis dataset are useful for monitoring and analyzing the environment of typhoon intensification and cooling by typhoon passage in the ocean. In this study, in order to evaluate the accuracy of reanalysis data in the East China sea and North Western Pacific during summer season, Ocean Predictability Experiment for Marine Environment (OPEM) and Global Ocean Physics Reanalysis (GLORYS12V1)data are compared with shipboard measurement. During summer in 2017-2019, using the R/V Isabu, three field surveywere carried out total 155 CTD stations. The statistics such as standard deviation, correlation and root-mean-square-errors(RMSEs) are calculated. As a results, OPEM has smaller RMSEs and larger correlation in temperature and salinity in East China Sea while GLORYS12V1 shows better performance in northwestern pacific even with many typhoon passages. -
