Smart Escape Guiding Agent (SEGA) Development for Ship Maneuvering Support

Abstract

Ship operators should make a quick and proper decision in an emergency. But it is very difficult for them to come up with the decision in the urgent situation. Thus KIOST has been developing SEGA-Ship, a maneuvering support system that provides the information of risk of collision, stability and contingency places. This paper purpose to introduce individual design of respective core modules of SEGA-Ship, developed by participants of this project. Further detailed informationwill be introduced in the Asia Navigation Conference on which will be held on November 21st to 23rd 2019.
