- Oceanic responses to the southern annular mode (SAM) and El Niñ o-Southern Oscillation (ENSO), dominant atmospheric modes in the Southern Ocean, are investigated with Sea Surface Temperature (SST) fields and Antarctic Circumpolar Current (ACC) fronts.ent (ACC) fronts.
