안전하고 친환경적인 항만 및 연안을 개발하기 위한 기술을 개발하고 있으며, 조력·조류발전 등 해양에너지, 해상풍력 등 신재생 에너지 시스템을 개발하고및 상용화 연구를 수행하고 있다.
